FAQS
The Cornish Cross broiler is a meat to table bird and not meant to be an egg layer. They are slaughtered before reaching puberty, which is around 5-6 weeks old.
Cornish cross chickens are primarily bred for meat production, while Cornish hens are specifically marketed as a smaller, whole-roasted bird. Cornish hens are typically much smaller than a full-grown Cornish cross chicken, weighing under 2 pounds.
If you get a Cornish Cross broiler chick from Natural Dam Hatchery it will either be a Ross 308 or a Ross 708. Please refer to the Aviagen Ross Pocket Guide for tips on how to care for your bird. The pocket guide can be found here:

We set our eggs 3 weeks before each hatch which is the same day the chicks are shipped. If you request a refund 3 weeks or less before your hatch/ship date, it will be at our discretion if the refund will be approved or denied.
All of our chicks receive a spray in ovo for Newcastle disease, Infectious Bursal disease, and Marek's disease.
Natural Dam Hatchery is USDA Process Verified and DOES NOT use any antibiotics ever.
