IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-
Do Cornish Cross broilers lay eggs? The Cornish Cross broiler is a meat to table bird and not meant to be an egg layer. They are slaughtered before reaching puberty, which is around 5-6 weeks old.
-
Are Cornish Cross Broilers and Cornish Hens the same thing?Cornish cross chickens are primarily bred for meat production, while Cornish hens are specifically marketed as a smaller, whole-roasted bird. Cornish hens are typically much smaller than a full-grown Cornish cross chicken, weighing under 2 pounds.
-
How much should I feed and water my Cornish Cross chicken? If you get a Cornish Cross broiler chick from Natural Dam Hatchery it will either be a Ross 308 or a Ross 708. Please refer to the Aviagen Ross Pocket Guide for tips on how to care for your bird. The pocket guide can be found here: https://aviagen.com/assets/Tech_Center/Ross_Broiler/Ross-Broiler-Pocket-Guide-2020-EN.pdf

Can I get a refund on my order? We set our eggs 3 weeks before each hatch which is the same day the chicks are shipped. If you request a refund 3 weeks or less before your hatch/ship date, it will be at our discretion if the refund will be approved or denied.
-
Are the chicks vaccinated? All of our chicks receive a spray for bronchitis and Marek's disease at time of Embrex as well as on day of hatch.
